On hot ground or wet grass, the best bed is no bed at all: a taut, breathable mesh deck on a steel frame, eight inches up, with air moving underneath. The surface resists claws, the skid resistant feet spare the deck boards, and the frame carries dogs up to 65 pounds without complaint.
Assembly is a few minutes with the included hex key, and the cot travels flat. Five colours, two deck sizes.
