This is the muslin blanket in its traditional form: 100 percent cotton, six layers of gauze quilted into a texture that crinkles, breathes and relaxes with every wash. It is thicker than the four layer cooling blend next door, which gives it more weight on the shoulders and a longer season.
The size run is unusually complete for a muslin: two throw sizes for the sofa, then twin through a full 108 by 90 king for the bed. Thirteen colours from white to wine red. Machine wash cold with a mild detergent, tumble dry low, and expect it to arrive stiff and leave the third wash soft.
